Chocolate Seashells

nice to see, nice to eat!

This year for valentines day, my sweetie got me a box full of chocolate seashells. I can't tell you how much I like those delicious spirals of confectionary delight. Instead, we got to watch the twilight darken into night, and the stars come out amongst the darkness of the waves and the blackening sky. We kissed under a full moon and felt the breeze ruffle our hair. I'll tell you, there's nothing on earth like watching the night wind rise – it beats sunrise hands down, no matter what you say.

Finally, we drove to an adorable bed and breakfast place nearby the ocean and stayed, pampered, soaking until late in the evening in

The next morning, the breakfast we had was delicious and adorable. Cute little croissants shaped like starfish topped with delicious homemade marmelade and whipped butter. The town it was quaint, and we got to walk around, watching farmers go about their daily routine and looking at the little puffy clouds going by. We got to go hiking along the trails, and to explore the local tourist attractions, which was fun if a little corny at times. And now I have the rest of the weekend to enjoy with him. I'll tell you, I'm the luckiest girl in the world.
